Pro Kontra Kampanye Perdamaian Rap Hijabi

Di tengah meningkatnya Islamofobia di beberapa negara Barat, seorang perempuan muslimah menciptakan lagu bertemakan Islam. Seorang perempuan berdarah Suriah-Amerika bernama Mona Haydar membuat lagu rap.

Akun @A Crafty Arab menuliskan Girl, you made my day. Hijabi or not, preggies or not, dancing or not, jazak Allah khair for giving a voice to Muslim women. Strong, brave and from all four corners of earth.

Akun @Afaf Asma menuliskan MashaAllah, love this! So clever and beautiful! Love seeing Muslim women in the arts do their thing. May this inspire and add to the many perspectives of what Muslim women can do in the world. Thanks for making and sharing this!

Akun @Sarah Abraham menulsikan cannot get it out of my head… singing it out loud…. all the time… 😀 <3

Akun @Najjiyyah Boozer menuliskan WTH..SMH.. this is not from islam..where in quran and sunnah does it make this permissible, women dancing for men to see, wear make up for men to see smh..where

Akun @Mehdi Sahma menuliskan  Wa Alikum Alsalam w Rahmatollah brother, i really appreciate your response and respect your point of view. But here is my point of view i appreciate if you can read it.

First of All i agree with you as you said Islam came to all humanity and to all cultures “And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know.” “Saba 28″

in islam there are things that are halal and things are haram and things that you can do which are desirable and things that you can do but are disliked ,like divorce” and things that you have to do, that you have no choice in it. However, its not us who decide which things are which “And do not say about what your tongues assert of untruth, “This is lawful and this is unlawful,” to invent falsehood about Allah . Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed. ” Alnahal (Bee)116″

So we go back to scholars who have studied religion , Quran and Hadith of the prophet (pbuh) to learn about Islam’s rules . Exactly how we go back to experts in any other subject. similarly , if you are not an expert cardiac surgeon , you can not teach another cardiac surgeon how to do heart transplant or tell him that what you are doing is wrong or right, this is how you should cut the artery or this medication you should prescribe. Exactly the same in islam or any other religion ,you can not say what is allowed and what things are not allowed if you are not a scholar or Religion man yourself who have studied the religion very well.

So as we laymen do instead, is go back to scholars and ask them , as an example ,about Hijab. What are the evidence of Hijab in Quran ? What are the purpose of Hijab, how to wear Hijab, what to hide and what to reveal, is make up allowed, are tight clothes allowed. Or can a hijabi muslim woman dance in front of strangers men.? And so on… and all answers should be proved by Quran and Hadeeth of the messenger of Allah.

“And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed” (Alnoor 31)

Second of all, i really do not understand how do you find this song promoting Deen? How can Few girls , with full make up on, tight clothes, wearing hijab in an unacceptable islamic way, exposing their adornments and dancing , are promoting Deen.
Even the lyrics of the song itself is not something spiritual or something have high morality and ethics, ” swag my hijab” “party like kuwaities” I can not in any possible way find this something promoting Deen , but i find it instead something commercial and something that has bad hazards on our young generation and young girls.

I agree that muslims who are staying in masjid and talking to each other are not helping islam in any way, But that does not mean that we should correct it in this way. There are many better ways to really help and reveal the pressure on our Hijabi muslim sisters. For example making powerful muslim parties or committees with the help of young brothers and sisters that can defend and fight for thei muslim women rights, that can assure that they do not be discriminated by the law, or people, and so on.

I am sorry for this long message brother, peace be with you
